Back from a picnic at the Fort Worth Botanic Gardens - trying to capture the Saturday afternoon Tres de Febreros vibe in Buenos Aires.
We've been awfully quiet lately. Here's why: http://yellowjumpsuit.com/index.php/2011/04/what-the-heck-happened-to-yellowjumpsuit/
I think I spent too much time in Argentina. Whenever there is a language problem in Suzhou I revert to my rudimentary Spanish.
Love this project - and it started in Texas! http://playgrounddesigns.blogspot.com/2011/03/red-swing-project.html
Great writeup on our favorite park in Buenos Aires by @sorrelmw - http://bit.ly/fK2l4M
On a hiatus from our hiatus. Family emergency sent us home a few weeks ago and we are staying put for a while.
Arrived in Ko Lanta after driving from Phuket. Great scenery - glad we had kid #1 do research on karst formations before we got here!
@WelcomeMendoza Lucky you! Enjoy the Texas cuisine!
I now have our passport numbers memorized. Is there some kind of merit badge for that?
Looking forward to moving slow today in Chiang Mai. Changing hotels and taking a river cruise this afternoon!
@NevEndingVoyage We use a proxy server in the US to tunnel our traffic for exactly that kind of thing. I can help if you want.
Grabbing a bite then on trains for the next 18 hours to get to Chiang Mai. Beautiful weather in Khao Yai!
More on our first days in Thailand! http://yellowjumpsuit.com/index.php/2011/01/one-sleepless-night-in-bangkok/
I can tune out Spongebob in any language except English. My kids are enthralled by it regardless.
I can't sleep, so why not recount our flight in excruciating detail? http://yellowjumpsuit.com/index.php/2011/01/on-marathon-flights/
We have arrived safe and sound in Bangkok after a marathon of flights. Now we are all wide awake at 2 am!
The lovely @travelista just proved that she took good notes at her empanada-making class in #buenosaires. Super and authentic!
After some radio silence, here's where we are about to go! http://yellowjumpsuit.com/index.php/2011/01/the-winter-2011-plan/
First aid / stay healthy-kit shakedown. If we had no kids this would be a bottle of aspirin. http://plixi.com/p/67926295
Geared up at REI today and (sort of) embracing the panic in our last week in the US for a while. Next week - Thailand!
